• HAPPY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY CHANNUKAH! HAPPY YULE! HAPPY WHATEVER-IT-IS-YOU CELEBRATE!

• So, I sort of made out like a bandit this morning. I was (apparently) collecting presents for all of Christmas, Channukah and my birthday, so there were more than I was expecting. And apparently some are still in the mail. Anyway, my haul was:
- Kindle (keyboard) & lighted leather cover
- 3 pairs of Victoria's Secret pajamas (cotton, flannel and silk)
- SLIPPERS
- a new wallet
- and a floppy hat my mom knitted me that is the best and I am totes adorable in

• Also an Amazon gift card from my grandparents for my birthday. Which I immediately used to buy books for my Kindle.

• I met a bunch of people for dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised when alcohol (in the form of a Merlot and then a red table wine that was delicious) were involved. Also delicious food. Including asparagus, which is one of my favorite things ever. Yumyumyum.

That is... really all there is to say about my Christmas, I think.

• Happy Christmas Eve! To those who don't celebrate, I hope you're still having an awesome day doing awesome things.

• Today was stupidly productive for me, even though I didn't get up until 11am. I got up and made blueberry muffins, then went out grocery shopping, then came home and made chocolate chip cookies. :) I wanted to make an Eggnog Rum bundt cake, but alas my father demanded cookies. Cake will wait for another time.

• Having been raised as a jew, I will be spending tomorrow in the traditional way of my people: chinese food and a movie (or two). :> My father will be watching Fanny and Alexander, but I tried to watch it with him last year and it's possibly the most boring movie ever. Thus, I will have my own laptop and my headphones and I will watch something else while he watches his boring movie. Dunno what I'll watch yet, but I'm not overly concerned about the decision at this point.

• Meh, there were probably other things that I wanted to say here, but I am at a loss for them now. Still, Happy Christmas, all!

Christmas with Mira and her family was truly lovely. I was very happy to be welcomed there. I thought you guys might want to see a bit of the whole event, so I have pictures. :D :D (So does Mira, I think. Though I don't know that she will share hers.)

So, for a first Christmas, this sure did not disappoint! I got a lovely cache of loot, and I look forward to parading around with it all. And, I learned something awesome about holidays in general: no matter what your religion is, sometimes it's nice to just sit around and be with the people who matter. :D

P.S. Mira's mother got my my own pair of pajamas! I can finally stop commandeering Mira's!

I've never really had a Christmas. This is a lovely first. I can't wait to watch people open all of those presents. I will take lots of pictures (I will, I will, I am determined not to forget) so there may be some of those here at some point. I'm really looking forward to this! (Also there are two very nice long-haired cats here. And they're very friendly. Unlike Mira's cats who run away from people. D: )

Also, I did have a lovely birthday. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy one and to all those people who were at the party. (I could name you all, but there are a lot of you...) It was wonderful.

P.S. I might decide that writing must be done. *nods* I feel that perhaps there is some inspiration coming on...
