• Weekend is relaxing. Other than getting tattooed yesterday, I got to hang out with a school friend I don't see very often because she's doing the summer session and is super busy. We hung out in Whole Foods and ate sushi and then walked to Borders for coffee and hung out there some. It was loads of fun.

• And I bought a new Moleskine planner. How geeky is it that this makes me really excited and pleased? (Answer: Totally super geeky.)

• Hm. Anything else to share? No, I don't think there's anything else at the moment. So, without further ado:

That's my left ankle, btw. I am totally super happy with it.

I so want a tattoo, but I'm terrified of needles. T_T

Me too! But, I didn't watch, and really the thing isn't like... a giant needle. It doesn't really look like anything, and it doesn't feel like getting a shot. I mean, if I didn't know how tattoos were done, I don't think I would have thought it was a needle. It's really not scary at all. :D

You tat surprises me. I totally was expecting something esoteric and Johhny like. I have no idea why. I didn't have any idea you were into the Dead. My dad was a huge deadhead and used to follow them around.

Yeah, I grew up listening to the Dead. My first concert was like... 4 months before I was born. XD I've seen four since being born, three of them while Jerry was still alive. *has street cred. or something* I'm getting back into them now, and really enjoying some of their stuff. I had forgotten how much I liked them.

We listened to the Dead a lot when I was little and I have always hated them. D: My dad adores them. I don't know. I like my music more angry and atonal.

Ahhh, you did it! I'm so jealous. I wish I weren't prone to keloids. :(

There isn't something preventative you can do about it?

Nope. A skin condition is a skin condition. There's like a 10% chance I WON'T get a keloid from it...which is obviously not worth gambling, haha. I'm SUPER tempted to pierce my cartilage though. I'm starting to think that my earlobes only developed hypertrophic scars, not full-blown keloids, since they seem to have healed on their own. So that makes me think maybe my cartilage wouldn't develop a keloid. The problem is that if I DO develop a keloid my parents will absolutely find out (because I share my mother's dermatologist), and they will kill me.

Congratulations! It looks fantastic. (I'm surprised it isn't your fleur-de-lis, though.)

I don't have a design for that, and I don't know where I want to get it done on me. So it's going to wait. Next up are the words on the inside of my ankle, and then probably my celtic pentacle design.

What are the words going on the inside of your ankle?
