In which Sky is inordinately pleased.

I'm so utterly pleased with myself.

Not sure if it's the new edition or if I'm just getting smarter (read: actually reading the instructions) or maybe both, but I just made a character for a D&D campaign and I did it mostly all by myself. (Those of you who've played campaigns with me know that I tend to fill in the character's name, race and class, and then hand the sheets to the DM to fill in all the numbers, rofl.)

Not sure filling out a D&D character sheet all by yourself means your getting smarter...

That said, I can see an instruction telling you to role a D20 for your character's SAT score.

Yay, D&D! I'll admit that I still need help filling out numbers, and I've been playing D&D for ... geez, six years and five (six if you count my henchman) characters. Then again, I have no head for numbers, so I can never get my THACO right.

But I'm rambling. What kind of character are you playing?

Congratulations! I remember those halcyon days when you and I would pore over those things like cats examining a new kind of toy mouse, while the DM was exasperated at us.

BOOOOOO. p(>_<)q At least you're getting your act together. XD My group can spend whole nights filling out character sheets and coming up with backstory if we aren't careful.

I don't like the new edition. But from what I've seen, most people who start out playing one edition dislike all future editions. o_o WHO KNOWS.
