In which Sky announces that she won't be homeless!

We have an apartment! If forgot to mention this, but. On Monday Mira signed the lease so we're not going to be homeless! Yay! (We were so incredibly lucky. I know people are still looking and not sure what they're going to do yet, but we were so. lucky.)

NYC, yes. It's on Jones Street, interestingly enough. Just off of 6th Ave and W. 4th Street. In the West Village. And yes, we should totally have writing dates. *nods*

So, how much is it? And how did you find it? I ask because in a little over a year...I will be looking for one myself. Man I am jealous.

It's $1895/month, which is being split between two people. And we found it by going through NY Times real estate listings and finding one we liked, then contacting the agent of that place and having them find us more like that. It was realy helpful to have a broker looking for it for us. It meant that we had to pay the broker's fee, but it went fast and we found great places and she did everything she could to make sure we got the place we wanted. She works for Citi Habitats. (If you wanted, I could give you her contact info, and you could email her when you start looking...)

Aaaaanyway. I am totally excited. Like... bouncy and squeeful excited. It's awesome. We should totally get together sometime.
