In which Sky proves that she's alive.
Apr. 9th, 2008 12:33 amI've said it before but there is nothing quite so disturbing as stepping into the shower and catching the tail end of the hot water. That said, there's nothing quite as satisfying as having the hot water come back just as you decide that maybe a cool shower isn't on the agenda. :D
Last weekend I went to I-Con 27 out at SUNY Stony Brook. Pictures will be forthcoming, I swear. As soon as I get my hands on them. I haven't actually attended that many conventions, but this was definitely one of my favorites. (Despite being broke. *laughs* On the other hand, I didn't have to carry home all the stuff I would have bought.) I'm already looking forward to next year, and actually planning on (maybe) going to some other conventions this year. We shall see...
This coming weekend will be filled with fun, too.
lskull86 and I are driving to Port Dover, Ontario, Canada to see the Oysterband in concert. I'm excited, even though he's going to show me up by wearing the Oysterband shirt I gave him. (And if he wasn't, I totally just gave him the idea. Oh well.) There's really no way I could order another shirt and have it get here in time, not to mention the fact that I'm still broke. Guess I'll just have to go to another concert of their's in the future! Oh, the burdens I give myself. [/sarcasm]
I think that's about it. Still have a job, but I'm not working as often as I would like to be. I hope this will change in the future.
