May. 5th, 2008 09:49 pmHello, my dear friends list. I have a story to tell you.
The story begins with our intrepid heroine–that's me, in case you missed the memo–and her stalwart companion–that's
lumi21, for the curious–wandering into Barnes & Noble in Union Sq. after dinner because, hey, they had time to kill. Upon walking into the building, they spy a sign. This sign tells them that Ben Barnes and other member of the cast will be there for a discussion and signing. Let me repeat that just to make it clear–BEN BARNES, of Prince Caspian and Stardust fame, was going to be there.
( The rest of the adventure. )
The general gist of it is this:
Anna Popplewell was adorable and pleasant and smiling after an hour of signing books. Georgie Henley was quiet, and looked a little tired and miserable. (I sympathize. Her hand was probably about ready to fall off.) William Moseley and Ben Barnes were both still all smiles and jokes. I had a small conversation with William Moseley, that went essentially as follows:
Me: You guys must be getting pretty tired of signing things by now.
WM: Well, it could be worse. We're lucky to have such great fans.
Me: Or crazy ones.
WM: We're the really crazy ones.
Me: Well, that's good to know!
It was great. I love their accents, but then, you know me.
That's pretty much all. ( Click for pictures! )
