You gotta love it when you have a double period class, and the teacher lets you out early because she ran out of planned things to teach you. XD

On another note... I had an interesting idea for a story in that class... Only, I think it might have already been done. So we shall have to see?

Has anyone read Sandman? Want to fill me in on what exactly happens in that book?

Which book? There's ten of them. ;P Not counting the side-stories.

If you mean in general in the series? That's a little harder.

I guess I mean specifically, what's the deal with Death in those books?

Er... that's a little difficult, since she's not the main character or even really _a_ main character, as popular as she is. She only appears in a few of the books and she doesn't really have a plot thread to follow per se the way some of her siblings (like Dream, Destruction, and Delirium) do. I hate to say be more specific again, but can you? I mean are you just looking for her personality or what?

Well, as I said to someone else, I want to know what's been done with Death as a character, and what's left to do. I would feel bad if I wrote something that was very close to omething Gaiman wrote.

I see... Well, like I said, Death doesn't have much in the way of a plot thread to follow, but her basic personality is pretty clear from her few appearances. She dresses pretty goth-ish, wears an ankh and black eyeliner, but she tends to be very perky and pop-ish, and she's always very gentle and kind to the people she takes.
There's also a side-story about how Death comes down to earth in the form of a human once every X amount of time, but I can't remember how often. Like once a year or something.
So if you're looking into this for a fanfic, there's a lot of material to work with. If you're looking for Deaths in general, there's also the Death of the Good Omens universe and the Death of the Discworld universe who are very different... those are the three most primary Death characters that I know of in modern fantasy, unless you count Lady Death as well.

I'm just doing Deaths in general as I had an interesting idea about one. And wanted to write something. But as I said, I didn't want to do something someone has already done.
