1. My birth mother left when I was three. So often I don't tell people this. I assume that they know already because this is so much who I am. I haven't seen her since third grade.
2. Because of this, I think I have a slight fear of abandonment. I dunno. Maybe not fear, more of an intense dislike of it.
3. Most people want a puppy for as long as they can remember. I wanted a full grown Irish setter. This came from reading Big Red when I was aout 5 or so. Maybe younger. Never did get that dog.
4. I did, on the other hand, get a cat at age 6 1/2. Gray cat named Grace (aren't I creative?). Upon being scratched viciously across the width of my undeveloped six year-old chest I cried, "I want to give this cat back and get a new one!" Well, I'm glad we didn't, as she was one of the best cats I've ever had. She was a fighter, fought off countless coyotes, until last year, she was eaten. Though, we never did find anything of her... we found parts of the coyote though... I loved that cat. I miss her.
5. I got my first computer also at age six. It was this huge gigantic thing, but it was mine, and I was happy. That is, until my dad stole it and became the computer geek that he now is. Just think, if it weren't for me...
6. The person I call my mother was originally my godmother. Believe it or not. Parent trap anyone? (And that is another story for another day... :D)
7. Because of my mother (godmother, henceforth known as mother) I have met famous people. My current godmother, Eve Ensler, is famous herself, though only slightly less that Hilary Clinton, Julia Stiles, Calista Flockhart, or Whoopi Goldberg. And yes, I have met all those.
8. I have moved 10 times in the course of 15 years, and I no longer categorize my life by years. No, I do it by which house I was living in.
9. My dad never went to college. Well, he has now. He went to college when I was going into fourth grade. Because of this, and because my dad, at this point was a single dad and raising me and did not have the most money in the world, I lived on a college campus for three years. Now that, was fun. :D
10. When I was 11, my dad married my godmother. I was present at the wedding. How many people can say they were present at their parents' wedding? And it was at this wedding I first danced with my crush of two years.
11. I moved to NY last year. I have been in NY for a little over a year. I don't think I can honestly say I like it better here, but it does have it's advantages... And I do love it.
12. I got introduced to fandom late. How sad! I was pushed into it (kinda like a friend pushes you when you are about to jump into a pool... You were going to jump anyway, it was just a little shocking, though throughly enjoyable. Thank you, Jaida.) And that fandom was... Oh dear! I... can't remember! Well, I'm sure I have a record somewhere... It was either Harry Potter (when I had James Potter surgically put into my head) or Weiss (when I had Crawford claw his way into my head.). Both were throughly enjoyable as they both led to revelations that I'm sure I knew in the back of my head and that is why I didn't flip when they surfaced. Sirius/Remus. How true. Again, thank you, Jaida.
13. I am going to be a writer. Why? Because I want to. And because I wish to change the world. Yes, that was about the most cliché thing I have ever said, but I do have a reason. I want to change the world one person at a time. And I can do that, by making one person at time happy. And that's enough for me.

Don't we all write to change the world somehow...
