Feelin' a bit ponderous...

Am actually writing a piece of fanfiction... a substantial piece that is... And believe it or not, (as I just checked) it's a word short of being 1000 words. :D :D I think that's about as long as a normal chapter or Fire and Air. And, considering that that is the longest thing I've really written, this impresses me very much of the much. :D

I hope this means that I cn really write fanfics now... Before I've tried and never got very far in it. Made me sad... but! I have 1000 words of fanfiction-y goodness!

ladyjaida is at the Simon and Garfunkle concert tonight, and I have nothing to do other than write this gigantic thing. Shouldn't be that much longer though. So I suppose it's not really gigantic. ladyjaida once wrote a 10,000 word fic in a day. I suppose I have a ways to go before I get to be that, but it's all good now as far as I'm concerned. :D

And for all those awaiting my original stuff, I'v put it on hold for this because I have to have this done (done being at least 1000 words, which, as I said, I have reached ( :D ),) by the 20th and would rather get it done sooner rather than later. And then you hall get more of Fire and Air as well as Glimpses of Heaven (note: tentative title). So, hang in there and we'll be back online.

((Who am I kidding, it's really not like that many of you are waiting anxiously for updates or anything... As far as I know there are about five of you who actually read the stories I'm talking about... *sigh* Whatever... *goes back to the fic* ))

Well done. That was a nice try. :D But I know that you, darsabre, maybe ladyjaida, and maybe a couple other people are reading the stories. Probably only about 5 peple, as I said.

and in the second note: I have no way of checking how many of us read the updates, but A) sure it's more than five, B) does it matter? those of us who are waiting REALLY want to read em!

B) If I haven't gotten writer's cramp now, I'm likely not going to get it... that's how it works for me...

D) No, I suppose it doesn't matter... :D :D It's good to know I have fans! :D ... now all I need are people to write fanfiction for my stuff... then I will be rocking... ((and yes, I am joking...))

A) knew that. we already talked about it in fact. you want to be a lefty. it's just that the left hand does far more of the typing than the right. it has a,e,c,t,s... so keep that one limber. get it?

B) cool, was just a joke. I needed some kind of advice to give you to make it work that's all.

C) already said that I'd take your word for it. you've upped the estimate though.

D) yup you have fans. and not oscilating ones either. now you have to keep your paper on the desk!

D) um, we dont know enough about the world/chars yet. give us a few more chapters and we'll be fine and dandy! :)

D)have you seen my desk> the wood is only visible where I knock stuff off of it so that I can get my arms to the keyboard and, since my keyboard is IR, often not even that much wood. I often have to excavate my mouse:)

E)um, I need a whole lot more to be able to accurately recreate characters than you do then. I need to know 'most everything there is to know about em: for example: I don't know enough about Rebuilding Ozymandias despite having read it a total of (I've been counting) 31 times,

Glad it's going well. Writing is always hard...sometimes even harder when it's for a fandom cause you have to conform to certain things, and can't just run with what you think up. I'm sure it'll be fine, and I'm really excited to read it! *runs off to check your LJ for above mentioned "original fics"*

Very good! You are correct! Unfortunately, I have no prize for you other than you get to wait for it to be put up with all the other Merry Smutmass fics. Sorry...

And I don't think I will get writer's block.. I haven't yet, and that usually means that I won't... hopefully...

Some people write long stories, or use a lot of words -- others write shorts or have a simple style. Neither one is necessarily 'good' or 'bad.' Just remember, word count does not a good writer make. ^^ I actually just read a chapter or so of Fire and Air the other day, and I liked it.
