In which Sky has things to share.

My Halloween costume is going to be amazing. I just wanted to share that. (I swear, this year, there will be pictures.)
Also, I'm now looking for a cheap used car. My aunt and uncle's car would cost too much to get in working order once we'd already spent a ton of money getting it here. So I'm poking around. (Yay Craigslist?) If anyone knows someone who's selling a good used car for cheap (and relatively close to me, if possible) you should let me know. :D
(I want some new icons and I totally don't know of what or really have time for it. Booooo.)

on 2009-10-26 05:02 am (UTC)I'll shoot you a list of places to look for a car that I used when I was shopping. I built up an impressive bookmark list, but I'll need to find it again.
What's wrong with your aunt and uncles car that needs to be fixed?

on 2009-10-26 05:30 am (UTC)Awesome! That ought to help a lot. Though, my budget is a lot smaller than yours was. >.>;;
A lot, apparently. The most expensive thing would be that the whole front would have to be opened somehow to get the mouse and rat nests out from the heating and A/C things. I guess. It would cost slightly more than we're willing to put into it. (More than just buying a used car.)
I'm both lucky and unlucky, though. My dad's dad used to own an auto repair shop and my dad worked for him some, so my dad knows cars pretty well. So he knows when something's worth fixing and when it's not.

on 2009-10-26 08:02 am (UTC)Yeah, I'll dig around for the bookmarks. Easiest to remember was edmunds (http://www.edmunds.com/) which is pretty much king. How much is your budget?
If it's just crap in the grill that wouldnt be too bad, but there are prolly clogged lines, chewed through lines... ugh, that sucks :-(
Good luck!
