In which Sky is sick.

I, uh, might have swine flu. (Or H1N1 or whatever.) My boyfriend was diagnosed as a "might" and he and I are experiencing the same symptoms. So... yeah. All I can do is treat the symptoms and try not to infect everyone else.

Hopefully, I'll kick this thing soon. I have things to do this week.

I had it and it isn't that bad. Lots of sleep, eat what you crave (ohmygod burger kind chicken fries for me), and drink lots of fluids. I went to work with it (oops?) because at the time I thought it was a side effect of my horrible ear infection. Alas, it was the swine and I should have stayed home, but things are okay.

my friend Jen is a primary school teacher and went to school for a week with the flu of swines. Confirmed with swab. Life is hilarious. Making small children is even funnier.

Eugh. Everyone is getting sick. I've been sick for over three weeks now. I recovered barely enough to celebrate my birthday (but had to end the party early because I was too under the weather to party too long). The doctors (I've seen multiple) concluded I had two viruses back to back combined with really bad allergies that then caused me to develop a sinus infection. And there doesn't really look to be an end in sight. They gave me this antibiotic that makes me ridiculously nauseous all day and all night. AND it clashes with YAZ. FML.

eeep! well, apparently it's similar to the regular flu, just ache-ier. just don't be like the dumb girl in los alamos who didn't get any treatment and then died.
