In which Sky says goodbye.

It happened about a week ago, but my puppy finally passed. She was in pain and had stopped eating or getting up and moving, so my parents called the mobile vet who gave her some shots and she went quietly to sleep. They buried her on our land out there, said a little prayer for her.

I'm glad that I got to see her before she passed, and that they eased her passing when it finally came time.

R.I.P Arctic. I'll miss you.

Its hard for people who havent had dogs round them understand the bond between one of us dog people and the friend / companion with four legs. I know the pain you are feeling. Its hard to say goodbye but remember the good times. With the dogs I grew up with thats the only way I got through.

Amen to that. I recently lost my dog Arthur and the way I got through it (although not completely over it yet) is knowing that he had a good life and was a happy dog, and that now he's in heaven chewing on anything and everything his heart desires. :)

I'm so sorry :( my doggie also passed away recently. well. my mother ran him over.
