In which Sky is inordinately pleased.

I'm so utterly pleased with myself.

Not sure if it's the new edition or if I'm just getting smarter (read: actually reading the instructions) or maybe both, but I just made a character for a D&D campaign and I did it mostly all by myself. (Those of you who've played campaigns with me know that I tend to fill in the character's name, race and class, and then hand the sheets to the DM to fill in all the numbers, rofl.)

BOOOOOO. p(>_<)q At least you're getting your act together. XD My group can spend whole nights filling out character sheets and coming up with backstory if we aren't careful.

I don't like the new edition. But from what I've seen, most people who start out playing one edition dislike all future editions. o_o WHO KNOWS.

Oh, no, that's all we did last night. Make characters. And I don't think we have even really figured out the backstories yet. It took us four hours to just fill out the sheets and choose powers. XD

The new edition is great. Or at least, I really like it. The 3.5 had too many numbers, and this made it so the numbers are sort of behind a curtain and those of use who would rather shoot ourselves than figure out how to attack (in 3.5) can now kick ass. Mwahahaha.

I could spend hours talking about why the new edition is great, but I hate it when my boyfriend does that, so I won't. That said, I know a lot of people who gave up 3.5 in favor of 4E.

I liked the numbers. o___o

::weird::

That is the only instance in which I do not hate math.
