You know what the worst part about being sunburned is? The sunburns ITCH. But you can't scratch, because that fucking hurts. So now I am sunburned (lightly, nothing horrendously painful) and it itches. And it's driving me insane.

I did have a nice day in the Hamptons though. :3

ETA: I found something that sorta makes it stop ictching!! I have this powder (that mostly I use for my face when I want to be scary pale and gothic) but the other day I was sunburned and dabbed some on my chest so I wasn't red. So I decided to go and do that now, and then the itching was mostly gone. =D

that's a very cool power, but you prolly mean powder :-Hamptons are a cool place to hang out, beatiful beaches. Good luck with the sunburn, I've found calamine lotion works for what it's worth....

Shh. Tired.

I was using lotion that usually works well to stop the hurtyness, but it did nothing for the itchy.

Are these Hamptons far away from Manhattan? I've heard of NYC people having homes there, so I've always wondered.

It's about... 2-3 hours away. Where I was, at least. Yeah, they're close. They're on Long Island, on the Atlantic Ocean. (I have no idea if I'm explaining all this well. You could probably google a map for it or something, and it would show you better than I can explain.)

They're also ridiculously cold (for southern NY) during the winter. My class at S. Hampton was freezing until the spring really started warming up. The we got to go do rsrch on the boat :-).
