Also, I would like to announce that I now have a two-for-two record in terms of college acceptances. I am in Mills and in Allegheny. Interestingly, Allegheny wasn't as much of a surprise as Mills was. I knew that Allegheny was interested in me since they sent me a certain application that said they were, and then my interview went really well. It's still nice to have that option though. I still have no idea when I'll hear back from Eugene Lang, which is my first choice. Eep.

I totally thought I would actually accomplish something tonight. Writing wise. Or reading wise. I didn't, really. Unless you count reading ladyjaida's story Master of Ravens as accomplishing something. Which, it is, really. That story is amazing, which is why I have linked you all to it. So that you can read it and appreciate it. Because she's an amazing writer.

And so ends my "Interesting Things to Say" list.

Oh, the something interesting that I had to tell you was that I almost went to the Billy Joel concert here in NYC tonight. This guy who I had hooked up with at one point asked me if I wanted to go, and I really did, but I didn't think I could make myself go with him. So I said no. Which made me sad, because I REALLY wanted to go. It was at Madison Square Garden and it would have been so awesome. But yeah. I couldn't go with him. *sigh*

Allegheny, eh? My good ol' alma mater. Let me know if you plan to visit any time between now and May, while I'm still in Meadville. The people are awesome. I wouldn't quite recommend it if you want to do creative writing (unless you like pretentious, egotistical professors who hate genre fiction, or at least pretend to), but all the other departments are good.
