cerulean_sky: ([Troy] fear (tableau))
My boyfriend and I are talking about fanfiction, in regards to the new meme that's going around ( search for your name on ff.net and see what comes up ) upon finding my name with Legolas in a romance fic. My boyfriend says something along the lines of, "That's someone's personal fantasy."

After which we got into a whole thing about guys having sex with Mr. Bloom because of his extreme female-ness.

Me: It's Orlando Bloom! He's practically a woman!

Him: So you'd have sex with a good looking female actress?

Me: *without a pause* Mm hm!

Him: *pause* ...Can I watch?

Me: I think I should have been smart enough to see that coming...

And there we have the difference between men and women-- wait. No. Nevermind...

So, yesterday, in the mail. my cloak came. It's actually a cape, and a double one at that, and it's lined with white satin. There are these nice silver clasps ( buttons really... they were probably held together with a chain at one point ), that look like they have the crest of some house on them. And I've decided not to replace these. ( Though at the moment I am holding them together with a blue rubber band... Which I seem to have lost at the moment... ) The thing is incredibly full. A complete circle really. I was amazed. I hadn't remembered it being this nice.

So my mother is going to see about hemming it, and then it'll be dry cleaned, and I'll have an amazing cape.

I was having fun swishing around in it the day that it came.

And today I got henna tattoos. I got a skull and crossed cutlasses just under my right collar bone ( which I'm not entirely happy with, but I think it's going to fade faster than the rest, so I'm not worried. ) and a nifty vine wrapping around my right arm. It starts on my ring finger, and then wraps around once and ends just about at my elbow. Kind of. I'm not sure how to explain it.

The lady had never had a request quite like a skull pirate flag. Not surprising. She's an indian woman who does mostly things for weddings. So she did the skull, not reluctantly but with a lot of, "Not that great, huh?" ( to which I of course replied "It's great! I love it!" because I did, and do ) and then, because she had extra henna, I asked her to do some designs on my arm. She was happier with the vine on my arm, needless to say. And, she was only charging me $10. ( I paid $15 because she'd never done a skull, and I figured I might as well tip her. She was incredibly nice. )

I feel so drained dry. I haven't written anything in too long. I haven't even written anything about my life. I guess I'm more concerned about the fact that I haven't written anything, much less anything I liked, in what feels like much, much too long. And if it wasn't damned late, I'd actually attempt to write something. As it is, I'm going to clean up my room so that it's semi presentable.

( It's probably bad that I can't find time to write, isn't it? I feel like, in the summer when I am mostly free and do nothing all day, I should be able to find some time to write something. Even just scribble something down. )

When my hair is grown out enough to actually dye again and hold the color, I think I'm going to dye it black.

ETA: Rave, check out my new icon and the keyword for it. XD
