1. A Song of Ice and Fire - Ser Jaime Lannister (

darsabre) I have no idea. Because he's an evil asshole, who sleeps with his sister, and pushes little children out of castle windows and yet still has a soft side for Briene (or whateverthefuck her name is). And I want him to redeem himself. Though, knowing G.R.R. Martin, now that I have said that Jaime is my favorite, Jaime dies first in the next book. And... gorgeous. Anyone see a trend here?

2. Seimaden - Teiteiyusu (no idea how they want to romanize that, but that's how I read it, so.) He's a demon. Who looks like an angel. And is so in love with his demon lord that he would betray him to make him into the demon lord that he thinks his lord should be. He's devoted, in a misguided sort of way, and only bad shit seems to happen to him. Plus, he's a pretty uke, and gets taken advantage of a lot. Aw!

3. Weiss Kreuz - Brad Crawford. He's an arrogant bastard. And he's sexy. And because he gets his way, no matter what, because he will rearrange time like that somehow. He always come out on top (yes, that's an innuendo) and he knows that he is the best, so he has every right to be arrogant. And if you don't like it, you can take it up with his gun. (Plus, he's totally fucking Schuldig, who's a close second on my list of favorites for this anime.)

4. Wolf's Rain - Darcia. Why no one guessed this I'll never know. Come on, people! I always love the bad guys! His clothes are awesome. I mean, yeah. The mask is awesome as well, and the jacket makes me want to cry because it's not mine. Also, he's a very angsty character. The woman he loves is a vegetable. I mean, come on. And the different eyes is sexy. (I think his english voice is sexy also. XD) Also, soooo pretty. :D

5. Abhorsen Trilogy - Astarael (

tcideneb) She is a character, and I don't care what anyone says. I actually haven't read the books in long enough that I'm starting to forget just what her part in it all was, other than the whole, "We all need to work together and ring our bells" thing. But I remember reading the books and thinking, "Holy shit. She is awesome." So yeah. It stuck. (Also, I am ashamed of you people. I took "Astarael" as my penname for like... a year. It was before I had even become Sky.)

6. Yami no Matsuei - Muraki (

forever_slash) I have a thing for hot guys in awesome jackets with white hair. Also, he's a sadistic bastard. Which only makes me like him more. And he's obsessed with this guy who's like a kid, except that he's insanely powerful and cool. And so is Muraki. Because that's how these things go.

7. Peacemaker Kurogane - Okita Souji (

cinaed) I think it's his eyes. When he fights, he gets "demon eyes" and he just gets about a million times cooler. I mean, he's this cheerful guy who looks like a woman, (and whose voice is done by a woman in the anime, bonus points for him there) and acts like a kid, and yet he's the best swordsman around and a cold-blooded killer. And he has a cranky pig. XD

8. Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series - Herald-Mage Vanyel Ashkevron (

embers) Some people think he's too whiny. I didn't think that. I love the first book and his, "Don't touch, don't feel" mentality, because I could really sympathize with him. And... he's a hot gay man. Which makes everything good.

9. Harry Potter - Draco Malfoy (

cheshibisky) I think that he's going to redeem himself. It's because he a) couldn't kill Dumbledore, and b) didn't kill Dumbledore. So I think that JKR will redeem him. And he's just cool. Comes from a pureblood family, and is in Slytherin (my house). And he's a pretty blonde. Yum.

10. His Dark Materials - Angels Balthamos and Baruch (

elfypiratequeen) This one was hard, I admit, since it's two characters and I didn't tell you people that. But yes. I loved the angels. They both made me really happy. First, there was the fact that they were gay. But their love for eachother was so cute. And their story about their love was so heartbreakingly adorable. So even if they technically have no bodies to be gorgeous in, I still loved them muchly.
