Exhibit A: He sent me a pair of fangs.

(This is all after me telling him that I was going to buy a pair for Halloween and my senior pic, and then he told me not to buy them yet, because he had a website that sold them cheap and he was going to find it and give it to me. And what to I find in the package I got from him today?)

Exhibit B: He dressed up as a pirate and sent me a picture.

Exhibit C: He has an unbelievable number of swords and knives mounted on his walls.

...

I will be having words with mine.

Then again, he gave me math-comfort today and is going to teach me how to ride a motorcycle within the next couple months.

Haha!

Who is this new boy creature of yours? I do not think you told me of this.

He is Sterling, the one who I thought was too much like my brother for us to ever date, despite the fact that everyone kept telling us we were destined for each other. It kind of just...happened.

So we've been told, countless times, usually after either 1. one of us tickles/pokes the other, eliciting a squeak, 2. one of us makes a reference to a book the other one made us read, eliciting a giggle fit, 3. one of us makes a reference to something else only we find amusing, eliciting a giggle fit, 4. one of us sneaks up on the other, eliciting a squeak-scream (I am usually the squeaking one), 5. we get into a pretend-argument kind of thing and rapidly forgive each other with lots of hugging.

Okay, maybe we are disgustingly cute, in a vaguely sinister world domination plots pirate queen empires kind of way. I mean, yesterday he was reading Guerilla Warfare, and I was reading trippy cyberpunk. There should be more fangs and pirate costumes involved, though, definitely.

*more huggling*

That is unbelievably cute. I wish Steven lived closer. *sighs*

For your sake, I wish he did to.

Wait a minute...Steven-Steven? Because first I thought you had a boyfriend who was in New York, then I thought he was in Pittsburgh, and now I am thinking he is Steven-Diane's-son (which, after Confluence, would have been absolutely no surprise to me), who is in Pittsburgh. Can you enlighten me, please?

Nu, Steven-Diane's-son and I are dating. I visited him over the summer. It was so fun. And he's coming to visit for Thanksgiving. :D But yes. Steven-Diane's-son.

Huh. Nifty. I am so entirely not surprised. Just so I've got this clear--there was a NY someone. Then there wasn't, and there was Steven-Diane's-son. And that was...Emma doesn't know how long ago. Cool. Lucky him. Lucky you. And then we squish the distance and all is well.

We've pretty much been dating since Alpha. Which surprises me and makes me really happy all at the same time. As I'm not usually the type for long distance things. But we were both so certain that if we were gonna do a long distance thing, it was going to be this relationship. So it seems to be working thus far. Except for the constant wishing, "I wish we lived closer."

But that's to be expected.

Awwwwwwwwwww! So was there somone who got kicked out, or am I imagining things?

Aieesh, and you say I'm adorable?

Also, while we're at the living-closer thing...you should live closer to me, too. Stupid cross-coastal business.

Well, there was someone I dated before Steven, but he was over before Steven and I met.

>.>;; Well... you are?

But you're coming to this side for college, yes? (Bard?) SO you're gonna be near me!!

It's funny that I can't read that unless I hit the reply button.

Got it.

Well...you are at least as adorable.

Yes, I am! Hooray for scary continental crossing! But if you go far away too, then we shall still be far away. But if you go to Barnard, we would be only an hour and a half away. And that would be joyous. (But you should totally come to Bard too. Caitlin, too. So that Em and Leen would be there, and then you and me and Caitlin, and the Alphans could take over Bard!)

I don't mind being adorable, really. I mind being cute though. For some really odd reason.

I'm probably applying there. But I want to go to NYU. So that's where I'm applying early. If I don'y get in (Havens forfend) then I'll be applying to Bard.

For the longest time, the word "cute" was my least favorite. I loathed it. I've gotten over that some, but adorable is still far preferable to cute.

I thought you still wanted to go to Barnard. Stupid me. NYU it is then. I guiltily hope that you come to Bard instead, though.

The thing about Barnard is that I would have to take another SAT II to apply there. And I, personally, think that sounds like a bad idea. So. NYU is exactly the place I want to be. So yes.

The SAT II isn't that bad, but is still evil. I would have thought NYU would require them too. The are also very mean when it comes to financial aid...but also incredibly spiffy. I don't think I could go there, though--too crowded.

The only SAT II I had any chance of maybe doing well on was the Lit. And I took that one already. I got a 670. There's nothing else I can take that I would do even remotely well on. And NYU only requires one, I think. I know that they suggest that you have two, but it's not necessary.

And don't even remind me of the money issues... Oh gods.

Yep, lit was the one I did best on too. I took the US History one because I'd had the AP test the day before, so I was all studyified.

Yep, I'm trying very hard not to think about them myself. My poor parents spaced my sister and me very badly--they will be paying college tuition for eight years straight.
