It hasn't stopped raining for two days. This is insane. And, Saturday, it didn't stop once either. It was also raining on Monday, but it did stop some, because it wasn't raining when I went for my NYU tour. And Sunday it was all rainy too, I think. Ew.

So yeah. I got wet coming home from school. It was so not cool. But I think I will clean my bathroom and go take a nice warm shower now. (I've been taking cold showers since the beginning of the summer, because it's just too hot, so a warm one will be nice.)

Don't get me wrong, I love the rain. And I like being in the rain too, but only when it's warm. When it's fricken' cold like this, I'd so much rather watch it from inside a nice toasty warm room.

When it would rain when I was in high school, my friends and I would run around in it during lunch and jump in every puddle we could find. We went to class freezing wet, but it was sooooo fun.

I would do that, but like... it was really cold today. Even without the rain, I was still shivering. So I didn't want to be that cold and wet. It was just awful. But I used to get really soaked all the time in the rain because it was soooo much fun. XD

Sigh...I'm jealous. Here, it is icky and hot and dry. Painfully so. It REALLY needs to get cold and rain.

If you saw the pictures Josh showed me last night of places where big chunks of the road were gone because of the rain, I think you might feel a bit differently about it.

Here there are places where the grass and clover are so completely underwater that they look like seaweed or some such--like it's an entirely different world made up of this puddle in the field where the ground is a bit lower. It's cool, but slightly nervous-making considering the last I checked the sun isn't supposed to come back until next week. :'(

Well, raging grassfiress house fires, brush fires, and whatnot aren't too peachy either. Neither are random dryness-induced nosebleeds, or heat stroke (though there hasn't been any of that too recently).

I will take some of your rain for you. May I, please?

Please, take it. I was just wishing last night that it would go somewhere it was wanted/needed.

Do you hear that, weather gods? Cold rain to west coast, dry heat to east coast!
