Mwaha. I'm done.

Granted, I don't know how much better I did, as I did progessively worse on the math sections, but I can't remember how I did on the math last time. I don't think I'm going to have improved in that section however. I am feeling slightly more confident about the english sections though. So maybe I'll make up for my horrible math skillz with great english ones! Kinda not getting my hopes up though.

I admit to going to the test on a mostly empty stomach, mostly because I felt ill before the test. Not jittery and nervous. Ill. I still feel a little sick, which I why I am going to take a nap. I like naps. I slept well last night, but I think that I would have had enough sleep if I had slept for two days. Maybe. So. Worst comes to worst I can always take them again. In... November. Gah. That would be worse. (I'm actually not sure of this. The collegey lady at my school said that you can take them after you apply to schools and the scores will just be sent along anyway. But I don't know if that applies to ED apps. Hm. Whatever. I don't want to take them again anyway.)

So now, nap/read/write. And then, since I'm no longer grounded (*does the little happy dance of happy*) I'm gonna go out to see a friend. No movie-ing because we're both broke. Ah well.

*collapses*

When you say you did progressively worse on the math sections, do you mean that you did worse from question to question, or worse from section to section? Because I would expect most people to do worse from question to question, so I don't think that's really much to worry about, but section to section would depend on the specifics of the test itself.

For early decision,if you take the test again in November, what happens is there is the POSSIBILITY that the college will receive your scores in time, but if they look over your application BEFORE they get your scores, they won't look at your app again. And the earliest the November 5th scores are available is November 21st. That means it's like a 66% chance they WON'T get your scores in time for early decision.

I also think that if you don't improve much in the scores for your October SAT (you can see your results on October 24th), then it's kind of pointless to retake in November, because most likely you'll get the same results. Especially when in November, you'll REALLY be stressing over apps and whatnot. So yeah, you probably don't need to take them again.

So, yay! No more stress. ^^

Fucker. That was me. I ALWAYS forget to log in...or log out of my other journal and RE-log-in.

I mean progressively worse like... the first section was fine. I finished with time to spare. The second section I finished just as time was called. The third section I didn't finish at all. I didn't answer like half the questions because I a) didn't have the time, and b) didn't know how to figure them out.

I don't really want to take the tests again, so I don't think there's a problem. I think they're just going to have to love me for the scores I have, and my godly essays. Because anything I write is godly, as I am a writerly person, not a testy person. I hate standardized tests. And now I never have to take one of them again! Yay!

Thank you for letting me know when I can see my results, by the way. I forgot to ask the proctor. And I'm too lazy to find out. Bleh. But yeah. No more test strees. Now I only have to worry about app stress. Icky.

My friend's older brother who's in college came back for the weekend and I was over at her house and the first thing he said to me was, "Aren't you old now?" I was like, "You mean a senior?" And then he was like, "Yeah!" It was funny. And then we talked about how I wanted to be at NYU and how my parents are abandoning me to the city. It was awesome. :D I love my friends and their siblings.

Which essay did you have? I'm asking you this, because the essay you had defines which test you had, and then I can get a better idea of what it was like (because I've talked to some other people about the tests).

Yeah...the thing with NYU is it's one of those schools that considers test scores and grades more important than anything else...and they don't really focus on much else...and well, you guys don't get grades... But I'm sure you rocked the SATs, so no worries. ^^

Haha, I went and looked up the date scores are released just so I could tell you. :D Because I figured you probably didn't know, and I figured you were probably too lazy to go look, especially when collegeboard.com doesn't like you.

Hahahaha, "aren't you old now?" That's amusing. Haha...my one friend has a younger brother, and whenever I go to her house I scare him with my pervy-ness. XD

The one about luck and success. I wrote about Chrristianity, because I blanked on any books that I could bring in. But I think I might actually have made a good case, and it was pretty long. And my handwriting was tiny. So yeah.

Oh yes, make me more worried now. That's right.

Haha, you know me so well. XD I was way too lazy and then when I remember while at the place, I forgot to ask the proctor, who probably wouldn't have known anyway. (At least, I'm telling myself that so I won't berate myself for not asking.)

Megan has a younger brother who I really want to meet and scare with my insanity, because I would do it SO WELL. And his friends too, who all bug Megan. So I'm like, "Well, I'll just tell them that I will make them all girls if they bother you." XD

Congrats on being done! I hate that test. I took it twice, and only did marginally better on the second one, even though there was a year between the two. They give you all these stats about how the average student does better on retakes, but I don't know how true that is.

Bleh. I hate taking long tests. ANd they way they do it is so stupid. They should give you two hours. An hour for english, and an hour for math. And the sections should be all together, not alternating and making the people switch mindsets. That's just stupid. Bleh.

Hey hey, me too! *awesome delighted high fiving*

Math = not for writerly English type people like us. I was interested to note how much more time I had left over in the English sections.

Out of curiousity, what time does your test start at? We're supposed to show up at 8. If you show up at 8, too, that means you're done three hours before we are (time change), thus creating the (very improbable) possibility of cheating (you could call me and tell me answers, even though my cell phone would be confiscated before you said anything. Not sure what they're thinking.). But if I start at 8 and you start at 11, then I'm at a disadvantage, because you get more sleep.

I wish we could use the leftover english time to do the math. Because I didn't have enough time on two of the math sections. >.<

I'm such a writer. Numbers hurt my braaaaaiin.

Yay for no grounding.

I'm going to see a movie with a friend tomorrow, despite my really not being able to afford it.

Ah well.

I hope the SATs went okay. *hugs*

The SATs need to die dead.

I'm going to see a movie tomorrow, but it's getting paid for because it's a babysitting job. I'm being paid to watch a movie! :D

SATs were as tolerable as they ever are.

I love babysitting jobs that do that. Heh.

If I get into Evergreen, I'm done with the SATs. Rock.
