Damnit, damnit, damnit! I refuse to be getting more sick! Sick=bad. Which means I should look into finding some more medicine. But still. I was fine until I started coughing!

I feel so physically and emotionally drained. I think I should take a long walk today. That is, after I do all the things I need to do for today.

To Do List:
-Finish cleaning room.
-Laundry!
-Clean kitchen.
-Finish Story One.
-At least start Story Two, if not finish.
-Find a way to get to the library.
-Look for Loveless fics for [livejournal.com profile] insomnikat. I have at least started this one.

That doesn't seem so bad. Now, if I could only stop hacking up a lung, it would all be good.

ETA: Today's Horoscope:
You'll be drawn to all kinds of art and music today, but your real skill will be in creative writing. Pull out that story or poem you were working on all last year, and try to tackle it again. You'll make great progress.

This is looking good. *is slightly cheered*

Nope. Not believing you.

Firefox takes too fucking long to load certain things and it's just a pain in the ass. I love IE, even though it sucks when it comes to blocking popups.

[identity profile] cerulean-sky.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Your loss. Maybe I just won't give you the fic when it's done. *snicker*

See, if you were on a Mac, you could use Safari, which blocks pop-ips so well, and is fast. It's like... one of the best browsers I've ever used.

You have to since they're my characters, fucker. So there.

But if I was on a Mac then I couldn't use Limewire and most of my downloads from bittorrent wouldn't work. I'd rather have a billion popups than no anime.

[identity profile] cerulean-sky.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I do not. It could claim that it's too horrible to let anyone read, and keep it on my computer forever. So there.

I guess that's true, actually. It's one of the only reasons that I would ever consider getting a PC: so that I could downloading anime, and not have a fucking problem with it, and have plenty of space to store it in. But Poisoned works wonderfully for downloading music. I've always been able to find what I wanted, and get it pretty quickly.

But I have to agree with you on the anime issue. Even I'm frustrated by now.

I WANT MEINE LIEBE. AND TRINITY BLOOD. AND LOVELESS. AND TACTICS (which I saw the manga for in Borders the other day. I wanted to take a closer look, but I didn't really have time.) Those are the four that I really want that I haven't been able to get. TB and LOVELESS because they wouldn't fucking work, and Tactics because only half of them worked, and even those skipped, and ML because I'm on fucking dial-up and it would take forever, so I haven't tried yet.

Whoo. Long comment.

And then I wouldn't talk to you until you let me read it.

See, if I had a Mac, I'd go fucking insane. That'd be sooooo much anime I'd never have gotten to see if I had a Mac. You could always see if you're able to switch your fucker of a computer for another one? I know some places let you because Rosie traded her really old one for a new one a few years ago.

[identity profile] cerulean-sky.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
*snickers* I wouldn't do that anwyay. What's the point of writing it if I'm not going to let you read it?

My parents are going to buy me a new computer in a year anyway, I think. And hopefully, since a lot of times it's a software problem that makes it so I can't see the anime, the software on the new one will be better. Otherwise, in a few years all the anime I want to see will be on a DVD anyway, so I'll just buy it with the vast amounts of money I'm making as a writer. :D

[identity profile] ravenpirate.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Why buy it at all when you can always get it for free? Anime is too fucking expensive anyway.

[identity profile] cerulean-sky.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Because the quality is infinitely better on the official DVDs, I've found.

[identity profile] ravenpirate.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, most of the anime I've downloaded has perfect quality. Only a few have been grainy.

[identity profile] cerulean-sky.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Most of the ones that I have downloaded hasn't been as good as I know the DVD would be. Also, do you get a lot of fansubs? Generally, the official subtitles are better too. I don't know if you've been getting weird subing. (I think at one point a friend of mine downloaded an anime with a character whose name was "Dr. Jackal", and they translated this as "Dr. Woofe". and another character's name was "Juubei", and they translated it as "Serbavy". I vaguely remember them adding random words in too... >.>;; I'm willing to bet you aren't getting stuff this crappy though.)

[identity profile] ravenpirate.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup, I download fansubs because most of the anime I watch hasn't been licensed yet so all you can find are fansubs. But I don't get anything like that. I think you just have bad luck when it comes to anime.
