So... apparently the fact that I have been doing what my parents ask me, means that I am to be punished.

I have been going to sleep by midnight (or shortly thereafter) just like they asked me to. And apparently the fact that I was asleep by midnight last night (before the SATs, I got into bed at like... 11:30 and then got online) means that my computer time for the rest of this school semester is restricted to 6pm-10pm when I get home from school. I shit you not.

How the fuck can they do this to me?

My happy mood at just coming home from a party (and getting away before everyone got really smashed and not getting smashed myself) is now gone. Byebye happiness. Thank you parents.

Oh, and this "routine" (as quoted from my dad) begins tomorrow.

Parents suck.

Anyway ... I wouldn't worry too much about it. When I was younger my dad would do the whole curfew thing for all of a day, and then no longer care.

This might last a bit longer. Maybe a week, or two or three. Anyway, all this will do is make me have more of a social life, because it means I will spend less time at home.

-hugs you- Your dad is a big meanie. Look on the bright side -- at least you weren't temporarily banned from the Internet and threatened to have LJ and email blocked on the computer...

*sigh* I guess we'll never figure out the machinations of the parental mind... until we're parents ourselves. :P

I'm assuming the SATs you survived is the new one? Rad :)

*hugs!*

I hate it when parents do that. Mine are usually pretty lax about rules, but once in a while they'll crack down hard on something like getting home at 6:45 rather than 6:30 - because apparently I have a curfew that they never mentioned and never care about except for right now.

*hugs* That's always such a bitch. I'd say "can you try talking to them?" but... yeah. Good luck dealing with it? *sigh* *hugs!*

I don't get it.

::confused::

Is there actually any logic behind this decision of theirs? Because I'm not seeing it.
