Meanwhile I dislike the casting of the actor for Harry (way too old, at least in the beginning of the series), though I supposed he was well enough cast if you wanted to play up Harry's douche-factor. The modern-day wizard bit is good in both, and that's what drew me too. I also read a couple other modern-day wizard books, including the one I'm in now, which has a female sorcerer as the lead. (And that's why I read the series too. Managed to get them all in e-book format shortly after I got a kindle fire, so I figured why not?)
