You're job? Look over the things I've posted here, and request some sort of drabble or scene thing, anything that will help me keep writing. It could be something that would necessarily be in the book, or not–as you like. :D
Story:
Setting: Random fantasy kingdom #497205
Plot Summary: The king is assassinated without naming one of his twin sons as his heir. Each of the prince's has a faction working for them, attempting to put their prince on the throne.
Characters:
Luken Blade - assassin who killed the king, ex-lover of Jerone
Jerone Trakker - Chief of a secion of the city guard, ex-lover of Luken, is a powerful magician but he rejects this due to an accident in his past (blue)
Prince Dmitreii - prince number one (red)
Prince Geoffroi - prince number two (red)
Lady Elina - lover of Prince Dmitreii, is able to make plants grow and control the movements of them (a combination of green and blue magic) (teal)
Vladmyr - high ranking magician, working to put Geoffroi on the throne because he thinks he will be easier to control than his brother (indigo)
Princess Alais - missing sister of the princes, will eventually become the kingdom's first ruling Queen
Short Explanation of the Magic System:
People are ranked by color, and each color denotes a type of magic that they are able to use. The lowest ability is Red and corresponds to Fire. A person with only Red would be able to light candles and hearth fires, but not anything much bigger.
Red: Fire
Orange: Air
Yellow: Light
Green: Earth
Blue: Water
Indigo: Body
Violet: Spirit
Someone with Green would have a "green thumb" but also be able to make fire, albeit bigger ones than someone with only Red.
People's ability can be identified by their hair color: A person who is a Green would literally have green hair.
Questions You Might Help Me With:
-Where has Alais been and how is she found?
-More characters? What sort of people might be helpful?
There's probably tons of boring exposition I could do about the kingdom this is set in and all that... Which I would gladly write if I had any idea what the answers were to those questions. Yay not knowing anything about your own made up world!
