It's very weird being the person people come to to have things explained. My korean roommates keep coming to me to have things in english explained to them. They also keep coming to me when they need something, like bandaids or a computer mouse. But I think that's just because I have more stuff than everyone else. >.>;;

Also, I totally might have a place to stay this summer which makes me happy. Yay!

Tomorrow: Neil Gaiman Event. I know that [livejournal.com profile] lskull86, [livejournal.com profile] windjinn, [livejournal.com profile] airiviel and [livejournal.com profile] mental_tsunami are all going to be joining me there. Who else is going to show up?

For the record, I intend to get there around 6 (the thing starts at 7) and save seats for people I know aren't going to be able to get there early like me.

Also, for those who aren't already in the know, the event is at:
The Great Hall @ FIT
227 W. 27th Street
NY, NY, 10001
7pm

Who's coming?!?

ETA: He will be signing things. So yes, bring things to be signed! They will also be selling books there, I think... That's what the woman said, but don't take my word for it. (What I thought the deal was was that they were going to be selling Fragile Things, which is his new collecion of short stories and whatnot. But I don't know if I'm right.)

I found a lovely copy of 1602, a comic by Neil today at Borders. Yes, I know, I work at a comic book store and get a discount there, so why didn't I just buy it there? They're sold out, of course. -_-;; But yes.

ALSO. ANANSI BOYS. IN PAPERBACK. SO PRETTY. SO MUCH WANT. >.
