cerulean_skyDarian was made for an RPG on GreatestJournal, called Neutral Territory.
When he'd been human, they'd watched him faint or throw up the contents of his stomach at the sight of blood, and they'd called it "hemaphobia." Now that Darian was a vampire, they called it weakness.
Vampires were predators through and through and, like sharks with blood or wild dogs with fear, could smell weakness. And they smelled it on Darian.
His flesh was easy enough to tear through, but his misguided confidence that nothing could hurt him wasn't as easy to crack. But when they did, as predators are wont to do, Darian's own blood was the one that flowed.
