cerulean_sky: ([as] rough day)
Yeterday was so not my day. -_-;;

I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffed nose. I drank tea, I had soup for lunch, I popped a couple Tylenol. At around 7, I went to study for a final with a friend of me. By 9:30 we had to stop because I was shivering and wearing my jacket in the Starbucks, and not even tea was helping. I went out and bought a thermometer and some cold Tylenol, and then went home to take my fever.

Last night it was 101.2, and I managed to make it go down to 100.4, and then at around 2:30am it spiked to 102.8. Having been trying to sweat it out, I stripped down some and started putting cool water on my forehead and face. I also took more medication. This is the first time I have ever been really sick and away from my parents. I called my parents, and when my dad picked up, the first thing I said was, "How bad is a 101.2 fever?" I was comforted by his answer that it was bad, but not emergency room bad, and I should take some Tylenol and I'd be fine. (It should be noted that when I woke up at 2:30, the tylenol I had tken ealier had just worn off.) My parents, who are currently in Santa Fe, called a restaurant and ordered me different soups and food and put it on thier credit card. So it's like they're still taking care of me. I had to have a friend come down with me and carry the food up through because I couldn't carry it.

I'm currently battling off a 101.4 fever. Getting out of bed is hard. But I want more soup. Or... mashed potatoes or something. I shall have to get out of bed to do this.

Interestingly, this week started out pretty good. On Monday I called the housing office and got my room change. Whee! I'm moving to a better dorm. I'm going to be in a double, but because it's not a suite style room, I'll only have to deal with one other person, instead of three. It's the same dorm as Mira, and the dorm that is around the corner from Air's. And it's closer to my school. Which is nice. I pick up my key on Friday and move on Saturday. (Mira's parents are helping me move, which is really nic of them.) I was planning on using today to start packing, but I guess that's getting moved to the second half of tomorrow and the first half of Friday.

For those who are coming to my birthday thing on Friday, it's still on. Totally and completely. I was planning on wearing a short skirt, so that might be right out the window, but the "party" is still happening. Even if I have to wear a scarf over my mouth and nose all night so I don't get you guys sick. (I think I should be fine by then though.)
