In which Sky tries not to be violently sick on things. Or violently sick in general.

Gah, work today=not good. It was probably not improved by me staying up until 6am, when I had to be at work at 10:45. It was definitely not improved by the fact that I spent the last 45 minutes of it trying to to be violently sick all over the floor of the store.

So... now I am ill. There is no way I am making it to my 8am class tomorrow. So, I suppose it's a good thing I am dropping it.

The thing I hate about being ill and being here now... is that when I'm ill I inevitably want someone to pet me. More than I usually want to be pet. Because it's a soothing sort of thing. But not. There is no petting for the Sky. And there was much grieving and sorrowing.

In which The Laptop gets named.

I named my computer finally. In a conversation with Ben about our respective laptops (or laptops-to-be) I told him that my laptop, being matte black, had a very distinct lack of the shiny. And I was sad for it. Thus, I sought a name that would mean something along the lines of "lack of shiny". But I also wanted something obscurely geeky.

Thus my computer is now named Leareth.

If you get the reference, you win. If not... well, you don't win, but I won't say that you lose either, since making it obscure was my intent all along. =)
