In which Sky throtles something.
Jun. 23rd, 2006 10:54 pmSo, the other day, apparently, our internet network was moved to my mother's new NY apartment. Which leaves nothing over here, at the one I'm still trying to live out of. So here I am, trying to figure out how to make my stolen internet connection not be so wonky and where to put my computer so that the connection doesn't die every 3 minutes. OMG, frusterating. >.o
On a much more pleasant and happy note: job search yielded results. I am currently fielding offers from two places. (By which I mean I had an interview today and I have to go back tomorrow to meet someone, but I pretty much have a job, and then I have an interview at another place on Thursday. Which means that I might end up getting hired at the first place, and then leaving for a better opportunity within days of getting hired. This strikes me as extremely rude, but my dad, who worked in retail for like... 20 years or something, assured me that people do it all the time, and you just have to be professional about it. So... yeah. I am trying to be professionaland not desperate.)
No, seriously people. If the connection doesn't stop being a wonky bitch, I will go throtle something. I wish I knew where it was coming from, so I could try to move closer to that place. >.o (<-- my new favorite emoticon, apparently.)
I need to write more drabbles. Or, finish at least one of the five I started. Rawr. If I get off now, perhaps I can post something a bit later. *puts on determined face*
