So, I gave up when I skipped 200 on my flist. So here's the deal. If there is anything interesting happening in your life at the moment that you think I should know, tell me here. Or if you said anything on your journal that was specifically for my attention ( hey's it has happened, occasionally ), also, let me know here.

I will be checking a few people's LJs, going directly to theirs and no looking at my flist, but again, I can't do this with everyone. So yes. Leave a message or something.

And I am having a lovely time. I'm actually writing something. Something with a semblence of plot. Amusingly though, it's turning out funnier than I thought it was going to be. There's an element of humor, which I totally didn't intend to be there. I'm not even sure I like them there.

Anyway, the highlight of today was that we were all having out stories critiqued ( generally before anyone was ready to let anyone see them. Which meant that mine was about half done, and horrible ), but we all drew names for who got to have who as their critiquer. Most of the staff were reading over the things, and among them was Wen Spencer ( she's a fantasy writer, who's relatively new, but everyone should read her stuff, she's really great, and really amazing. Very nice as well. ) and Tamora Pierce. My friend Lindsey got to have Wen look over her work.

Want to take a wild guess who got to have Tamora Pierce look over her story?

If you guessed Sky, you are a smart person. If you didn't guess Sky, you need to appreciate suspenseful writing more.

And then afterwards I talked to her for about an hour, about all kinds of things. Like, music ( she listens to some great stuff ) and what my parents did, and all kinds of things. She's amazing.

But how many young writers my age can say that they have had Tamora Pierce look over a piece of their writing and give them sugestions. I'll bet the number is pretty small. So that was my 15 minutes of fame, even though I was only famous in my own mind. But yes.

And the readings at Barnes and Noble are lots of fun. And I bought a book that I have been meaning to get for a while. And if Ibuy any more books, someone hit me. I swear. There is still the anime store somewhere, a used book store ( where it's possible that I will break the no books rule ) and a Hot Topic that we probably won't go to but there is still a chance. And I'm already starting to think about spending less money. Kind of. Oh, and not to mention the con. ANd then I would like to have some money to spend at Hot Topic when I get to Santa Fe, because it has been way too long since I had a chance to shop in HT. ( Here's a fun fact, Tammy likes HT. XD ) And I want to dye my hair again.

How am I supposed to do this? Perhaps things like hair dye, and perhaps some clothes at HT can be paid for my Liza's parents, and then my parents can pay her back. I feel bad doing that though. Perhaps I'll email my mom and dad and see if that's ok. My dad did only give me 50$ for the next month basically. That's not really enough is it? Eh. We'll see. I feel a little bad. Maybe, I'll just cut down on spending. WHatever.

You all didn't really need to know this, I guess. Whatever. It's early. Really early.
