There is so much relaxation now.

Yeah, so I've been awa from LJ for a day or two. So sue me.

I had a whole thing with my mother last night. She was mad at me because I didn't buy people gifts, and I hadn't finished making them. I can't really remember details, as I tend to block fights with my mother out.

I went to a family thing tonight. A family Channukah thing. Even though last night was the last night of Channukah. Anyway, the point is that I did finish the presents for people, and they loved them. So, it was all good.

I got some cool gifts too. Some nice earrings. But the best two were the two books. Mists of Avalon which I have been meaning to read, and... (dun dun duuuun!) Exile's Valor!!! I am so happy!! I actually own a hardcover Mercedes Lackey book now!! :D :D

The only thing was this. My grandfather's older brother died this morning. Er... yesterday orning as I'm typing this at 2:30. But the point remains that it put a dampener on things, as he told us all towards the end of the get together. My mother and all my aunts and uncles were all really sad, they all knew him as the loving uncle. And I was sad too, but I've never met him, to my knowledge. Maybe once. Perhaps I should be sadder, but I don't think so. I think I have just the right ammount of sad. Ah well, I am babbling now.

Have found yet another soulsister. ravindra_anima. Together we stay up late and RP our Heralds!! :D Lol, and aside from that, we share so many interests it's scary. LotR, elves, Mercedes Lackey... You know... Anyway...

I have gotten pretty good gifts this holiday season. I got 6 CDs (LotR: RotK soundtrack, PotC soundtrack, Rufus Wainwright Want One, Fleetwood mac Say You Will, and the two Mercedes Lackey CDs), a couple gift cards (including a 30$ B&N one) and several books. many other things as well, but as it is now 3:00 that I'm typing, I can't remember what they are. So.
