Notes for people who are coming to dinner on the 23rd.
If you are
lskull86,
anonshadow, or
mental_tsunami, please take note. (Air, this sorta applies to you as well. But you're going to be with me, so yeah.)
I'm thinking that since most people are coming from Brooklyn for this thing, that dinner will be here in Brooklyn. Do both of you know Joya? It's a restaurant on Court St. Between Warren St. and Wyckoff St. (Look! A link for you to follow! This has a map and the address and whatnot.) It's really good. I've been there once and it was yummy. I'm thinking 6pm is a nice good time to eat.
Er... in the case that they are full (as reservations make me very nervous and scared, don't ask me why) we'll just go up to Montague street or something and find a place to eat. So yes.
Um... I'm hoping that the transit strike won't be a problem, and if it is... well, we'll deal somehow I'm sure.
Um... also, my parents have declined to pay for this, saying that for my birthday, (and I quote) "my friends should take me out." (Obviously they said "you" instead of "me," but you get the idea.) I'm sorry if this infringes upon anyone, but I'm fairly sure that I can pay for myself.
Also,
ladyjaida, if you're free, you're welcome to come. It's pretty much just a mishmosh of people who are my friends. Should be... er well, interesting, I hope. :D
In conclusion: You all have my cell phone number. Call me if you have questions, though I can't guarantee that I'll be able to answer it. >.>;;
So. Joya @ 6pm. Does that work for everyone? (Sorry I took so long to decide about all this... >.< )
Um... Yes. Fun! And hopefully no one will die. Myself included.
P.S. Gifts are not necessary. (Sure, they're always appreciated, but you don't have to give me anything other than the joy of your company. :D )

I walk a lot recently. Like yesterday, I walked from my house to the Williamsburg Bridge (about two miles from my house to the base), across it, up to Union Square via. Astor Place, and then back.
Yay 9 miles.
So yes. I will walk.
And yes, it works perfectly.
Yay birthday!

AND OMG YAYE I'M SO EXCITED.
My dad said the strike might end tomorrow because they might throw the main guy or something in jail (I have no idea exactly what he said, I was only half listening after he said he was going to let me go tomorrow), so hopefully things will work. :D :D :D

Happy Birthday!
Hope you guys enjoy dinner and all that; sounds fun. & I'm sorry about all the recent parental complications (though frankly I myself would be good with practically anything iPod-like!).
PS I love Christmas vacation. 'S the perfect length - long enough you don't have to do homework the entire time, short enough your parents don't schedule too much stuff for you. So yay, for both vacation & birthday. (I feel so young... ^^)
