Grar. History papers are the bane of my existance.

Am going out to meet with [livejournal.com profile] _starlady_ tonight, and I'm bringing along [livejournal.com profile] mental_tsunami. And we both are all spiffed up and fancy and nice. And... yeah. Perhaps pictures are forthcoming, perhaps not, if there's no camera. We're going to the Society of Illustrators Reception thingum. It's going to be fun. Last year, both [livejournal.com profile] davekirtley and [livejournal.com profile] tobiasbuckell. (Though at the time, I only knew [livejournal.com profile] davekirtley.) I know that Dave won't be there this year, but I'm hoping to see Toby, though I haven't been up-to-date enough on my flist to know if he will be or not. (Perhaps I should check that.)

I totally just realized today that my boyfriend is coming next week. I knew it was soon, but I didn't know it was that soon. *squees happily*

ETA:Whee Toby will be there!

I ain't got it yet! Besides, It was with awesome editors and publishers and writers and all sorts of awesome fantasy/sci-fi people who are awesome.

Ellen Datlow was there and I'll bet I missed her. Damn.

point and point, sounds cool!
On the note about Feast for Crows, havent gotten a chance to really sit down with it yet, but from the few pages I've read it lives up to his standard :-).

Oh btw, B&N has it for 17 something for members on their site and Borders has it for 30% off (~19) in the store.

I don't think I'm going to buy it though. I'll have someone else buy it for me. :D
