if you can afford it than it's worth it. I got into a number of schools in that price range that were worth it, but I didnt have the money for it. OTOH, having spent the last year and a half at SUNY Stonybrook, I'm damn happy here and don't think I would have been happier elsewhere. Education and college (within reason) is what you make of it, no matter where you go.
