Ok, so since my website is hosted by earthlink.net, to update my website I use an online hosted program called Trellix. I think this is probably a very good thing for beginners and those who don't particularly care what their websites look like, but being able to only use the layout templates that they have available really pisses me off, as I know my website could be so much nicer if I had a layout that I designed myself.

So. Someone encourage me to go ahead and buy a domain somwhere else. Please. Or switch hostings. Or something. As I am getting trés pissed off with this. It's getting to the point where I dislike updating my website. And that's just not cool.

So yeah. Encourage me!! Tell me this is the best thing to do.

And then give me suggestions about where to do it. (I already got a few, but I'm open to more.

Switch hosting! Really, that sounds absolutely awful.

My hosting is insanely cheap (like really, really cheap), and the site doesn't go down often, but the guy who runs it isn't exactly the best in the business. http://www.zowow.com if price is a huge deal for you, but not host intelligence. It sounds better than what you've got by tons, though.

I get my domain name from http://www.powerpipe.com - $7.99/yr.

-powerpipe.com (good to know someone else reccomends it)

-SurpassHosting (which looked good, actually, but I'm no expert)
-Netrillium (though I hear this isn't as cheap as other places, and not fun to work with)

So yeah. Doing my research.
